Microblading
About the treatment
Phibrows is a manual technique of semi-permanent eyebrow drawing. The eyebrows are drawn to conform to something known as “the Golden Mean” (Phi 1.618) and are calculated according to the morphology of your face. Eyebrows are drawn with your eyes closed to ensure facial muscles are relaxed. Then with the help of the Phibrows mobile application and a golden intersection compass, symmetry and a shape that compliments all your facial features can be created.
The pigment is chosen to match the natural eyebrow hair colour whilst taking the skin undertone into consideration.
Strokes are always drawn in the direction of natural hair growth to achieve a hyper-realistic look. If you have very few natural eyebrow hairs, manual or machine shading can be added to create volume to the finished brow.
Please be aware that the eyebrow colour will appear much darker during the first 5 – 7 days following treatment. After that, it will soften and lose its intensity. If you think the colour is too dark, do not try to remove it yourself as you may risk scarring or infection. The colour will gradually fade on it’s own about a week after treatment as the skin heals. The healing process is completed after 28 days. You will require a perfecting top up approximately 5-6 weeks after the first treatment as around 10 – 15 % of the strokes may disappear and some pigment will be lost. With problematic and oily skins, a further treatment after the top-up may be required which is not included in the initial price. Lucia will always consult with you on this beforehand.
It is imperative you follow the aftercare advice as it has a huge impact on how your eyebrows develop. If you don’t follow the advice then you may lose up to 80% of the drawn strokes. Rinsing and applying the cream is of great importance.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long will my eyebrows last?
The longevity of your eyebrows primarily depends on the quality of your skin. On average, people wait between 10 and 18 months before having their eyebrows refreshed. However issues such as oily skin, excess sweating and sun exposure can all negatively affect your eyebrows. If you experience any of these issues then the time between refreshers may be shorter (in some cases around 6 months).
Is it painful?
The pain can differ from person to person. Some people experience some discomfort whilst others compare it to having their eyebrows plucked. It is possible to use a mild cream anaesthetic that can help eliminate any pain you might feel during the treatment. Please be aware that if you are on your period you can feel slightly more pain than usual although this is not always the case.

Types of Microblading

Natural
Brows
Get perfectly natural brows created by using specialist techniques that will mimic your existing brow hair.
This is a must have treatment for clients who want a subtle, everyday look.

Bold
Eyebrows
Get those brows on point. If you like a strong look to your brows then this is the right option for you. The brows are created using an advanced stroke pattern, with a combination of longer and shorter strokes.

Youthful Brows
This type of brow will give you an instant brow lift.
Creating a very soft arch will add a subtle lift, therefore giving a more youthful appearance and taking those years away.

Microblading & Shading
Shading adds a hint of shadow between the hair strokes giving a fuller appearance. This is a good option if your brow hair is patchy and you need to have more density added where your natural hair is missing.

Breezy Brows
A new style of permanent makeup. It creates breezy and careless brows, which is nowadays at the highest fashion point. The goal of this technique is maximal natural brows that looks a little bit untidy but gives perfect natural form and look.
Pre-procedure advice
Please read the following advice carefully as in order for your new brows to heal properly it is extremely important to follow these instructions.
Microblading is a two stage treatment. To achieve the best results you will be required to return for a perfecting top up appointment. This will take place between 5-6 weeks after the initial treatment. If your skin is oily or problematic then an additional treatment may be required.
Delicate or sensitive skin may be red and/or swollen after the procedure. I do not recommend making social appointments immediately after the treatment. The redness normally reduces down after about 30 minutes.
